Nearpod is used in my classroom to allow students to work at their own pace. While doing so it gives me time to check-in with my students one-on-one. Having access to Nearpod gold will allow me to add videos and record audio for the slides which will increase accessibility of the content to my students with special needs. Nearpod is unique because it allows for integration with science simulations and allows students to practice what they learn in diverse ways. In addition having Nearpod gold will allow students who are absent to still have access to the classwork through our LMS. Many of my students who are absent are staying home because they feel a little sick and are trying to keep their learning community safe.
