Chromebooks are used in our school. I am a resource teacher who services 2nd-5th graders. These students are required to travel to my room with them. Many of them forget to bring them, hence time is wasted on direct teaching. I am limited with the time for all four grades and when they forget their Chromebooks it takes away from their learning. By having at least three Chromebooks available, the students who forget theirs will have one to use instead of going back to class and retrieving theirs, therefore making sure that their direct learning minutes are utilized where it needs to be...in my room. This will allow them to get the time they need in services and not disrupt the classroom teacher by having them help get the Chromebook.
