I'm trying to cultivate a learning environment that brings joy into the everyday experience of English Language Arts class. From fidget/sensory gadgets and coloring books to help students remain focused and stress-free, to word games that help them build their vocabulary in spare time (mad libs, bananagrams, scrabble, poetry magnets), to organizational supplies that will help them build productive and valuable habits (cubbies, two-pocket folders, pens, writing notebooks)--these students haven't ever been in the building (they started high school during the pandemic!) and they deserve an experience that reminds them what school’s really about. Hopefully, we can create the perfect environment--completely transformed from a bare classroom into a beautiful place of learning. Thank you for your support!
