During the last year with many COVID quarantines, I've seen an increased inability for our students to completely focus and attend. We've noticed higher needs and flexible options for our students to learn to the best of their ability, items such as flexible seating options. Many students have had an increase in anxiety and thus would benefit from some sensory tools to calm them, items such as weighted lap blankets. While some of our classrooms do have different options, we've not been able to grow the variation of options for them. We've found that as the need increases, we've not been able to meet it completely and some students have gone without due to this. I'd love a chance to be able to provide the supports for my students as needed and this would be a great and such beneficial start for my students!!
