My students must keep up with the latest kitchen "technology" in order to further their knowledge of food and nutrition. The kitchen is an ever changing place and new technology for cooking is introduced all the time. Air fryers & new uses for griddles are being brought to the forefront of cooking. With these two kitchen appliances, my students will advance their skills as chefs and hopefully carry that into their daily lives. My students have asked me on numerous occasions if we would be cooking using air fryers and I am hoping to provide them with that opportunity. The air fryers I have chosen for this project can also roast, toast, dehydrate, and reheat. As for the griddles, they are also all the new rage in the cooking world from cooking pies to foods from different cultures. I hope to get my students excited about making more than just pancakes on a griddle!
