I am a brand new school counselor this year and I'm eager to provide for my high need students. At my school we have several students with autism, adhd, and challenging behaviors in the classroom. My classroom is where they go to calm down and I often offer them a fidget to take with them for the day so they stay regulated. The products I have selected will help my students when they are struggling at school and need a little something extra when they are in the classroom. I will also be conducting mental health and social skill groups at my school and the materials I have selected will help with that. By donating to this project you will be touching the lives of many students we serve. This will not only improve their mental health and social functioning, but also their academic success. Our goal is to always keep our kids in the classroom and ready to learn.
