Research has shown again and again that the more ways you are taught something and the more senses and movements used; the greater the chances of making your learning “stick” . I plan on using these manipulative kits and games to enhance the intervention I can provide for my students. Because they have already been identified as being well below grade level in their skills, I really want to give them as many opportunities to bridge this gap and become proficient readers and learners. Building this “collection “ of objects, manipulatives and games will allow me to access many different modalities, as well as keep my instruction fun and exciting! The kits with objects and games will help students use all their senses when learning.

About my class
