These materials will allow for our 6th graders to learn how to build and splice 3d models and print them to see they work up close. With the advancements in 3d printer technology, these students will be able to get an introductory look at what these printers can do. This is the first step into learning about 3d printing and all the ways it can help people all over the globe. The printer itself allows for multiple colors (filaments) to be used at once, so the students can get a better picture of how a 3d printer builds as it prints. This printer also allows for a large viewing space to set up a camera for recording to time lapse for later viewing.
