The task boxes will be designed to help teach a certain skill, such as developing fine motor skills, letter and number recognition, sight words, sorting, sequencing, reading, and math. My students are given boxes created to meet their individual needs, are differentiated by occupational and academic levels. The tasks help foster their independence and hone a wide variety of skills. The microscopes are to help students understand bacteria and germs exist, supporting our food safety and health class. My goal is for students to understand that the "unseen" by our eyes can still be harmful.
