I teach a very unique population, and education is consistently changing and as educators, we need the tools to meet each learner. As technological resources advance, students need to have the necessary tools to use these platforms effectively. Often of the time, when some of my students use these platforms to help with reading comprehension, they will often have to turn the volume down to not distract their classmates. Although, this is commendable with regards to respecting their peers, it's still affecting their ability to absorb the most because they cant hear. But, I can provide headphones to them, then there will little interruptions and students can focus on learning.
