Hi, thank you for checking out my project. I am a P.E. teacher in Brooklyn. During the first few days back to school each year I create a recess bag of equipment that goes outside with my students every day. Unfortunately with our new normal I won't be making that recess bag this year, because sharing equipment just won't be as easy as it was. It has to be disinfected between students, and there are just too many students, not enough equipment, and not enough time to make that happen successfully. I want to give each of my middle school students their own jump rope that they can use at recess every day. The ropes will stay in their book bags and travel back and forth with them every day to school. This can help them get their families active too if they use them at home. With your help my middle school students can stay active using their very own equipment at recess every day.
