I have a wonderful group of enthusiastic and caring first graders. They work hard and always try their best every day look forward to seeing their smiling faces each morning. I teach in a Title 1 school and many of the students I teach come to school from another country not even speaking or understanding English. The students I teach live in an area that is transient and unstable. I am stable person in their life that they can depend on. We are our own little family.
