The goal of this project is to provide elementary school students with enriching learning experiences through the use of a Makerspace. This makerspace will help foster my students' creativity and critical thinking skills in various ways throughout the school year. Makerspaces provide hands-on, creative ways to encourage students to design, experiment, build and invent as they deeply engage in science, engineering, and tinkering. Students will work together to develop the ability to think critically and effectively problem solve. My goal is to pair these materials with a read aloud to create hands on learning for my students!
