This project is about students having an active role in our new school garden and teachers supporting student learning through an inquiry model of instruction. Every grade level has science standards and each teacher is tasked with guiding their student through these learning goals one plant, one vegetable, and one crop at a time. We need fertilizer yes we do....stinky, smelly, dirty fertilizer for us to use! We recently met with a master gardener to receive feedback. One of her first pieces of feedback is to gather soil and fertilizer to help with our dirt as fast as we can. DonorsChoose we can't wait to get started outside in our teaching garden!
