These materials will help myself as a first year teacher get my classroom ready for my students. My students rely on teachers to provide materials and often all materials are shared with the family. Anything bought will go directly to use by the students and their families. We will be creating an innovative and culturally responsive space together with these items. We will be checking out the books in my classroom library, we will be taking pen to paper to make creative personal stories, and sharing our ideas on our white board.
