Having these calming tools in my classroom the students will be able to use them to calm themselves down. This will allow me to keep teaching them rather then stopping to address their needs. They will learn which tools work for them and be able to use them appropriately while still learning. If a student is overwhelmed with the directions they will be able to select a tool to use to help them focus and maintain calm. This will allow them to continuing learning and being successful in all that they do.
