The Calming Area is a quiet area of the room equipped with sensory tools and furnishing to help students de-escalate and self-regulate. The students are learning to use the Calming Area to calm down and self-regulate their minds and bodies. The Cuddly Puppy Weighted Shoulder Wrap will help students to concentrate and be able to self-regulate. The Sensory Star Beanbags can be held in their hands and assist in calming the student. The Hoberman Sphere is kinesthetic and the movement will help the student to refocus their thinking. The soft colored seats are for the student to sit in the calming area.
