The project was created to enhance our school's music program for our students with moderate to severe disabilities. Unfortunately, at our school, our students do not receive adaptive music instruction and lack lesson objectives that meet the needs of all students. Our students miss out on the opportunities to engage and interact with music and instruments. The materials will support our program in creating an adaptive musical instruction, where students can learn about beats, rhythms, and the instruments that make the sounds we enjoy. The materials will support objective-specific learning goals that give students the opportunity to engage in hands on activities. Providing our program with the materials for music, opens up the door for creativity and imagination in the world with sounds.
