The materials that I am requesting are essentials for the art class, mix medium paper can be used with multiple art mediums, and the drawing paper will help student be creative. Water color paper will be use for projects that required water color paint. The mirrors will be use for self portrait projects, with the group of 5th graders I noticed that they have great drawing skills and I want to challenge them by taking them to the next step. I want to introduce my students to tapestry this year, and the portable tapestry loom will be perfect for that. By using the artwork hanger throughout the building will help students appreciate art. Our school is a Title I, I have a lot of students with disabilities. So this grand will provide materials for more then 300 students. Since I am the only Art teacher in campus. I know my students will appreciate the new materials, and the opportunity to explore new experiences.
