I am a Mental Health Therapist who offers services for all the students, especially to the ones that don’t have access to outside mental health services. Our school has a high population diversity along with many of our students being economically disadvantaged. Many of the students I work with have various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, and other challenges including complex trauma. Suffering from complex PTSD, anxiety, or depression decreases the learning and attention capacity of these students. All of the students at Highland are amazing, and many if not all have a desire to learn. With this device, I will be able to help students process their complex issues through a revolutionary therapeutic approach that is research-proven.
