I want to create a club for my students to express their creativity, learn and appreciate photography, and have pictures that can last a lifetime. I work in a low income district with a lot of English Learners and my students do not have access to a lot of materials. They especially do not have a lot extracurricular activities available to them. I want to provide them with the same opportunities that children in wealthier communities would have. These cameras will provide my students with hands-on experiences to apply what they learned in our club. I will be teaching my students key components of photography and art. My students will be able to share their ideas if they do not have the words to do so and appreciate another person's art without needing a translation. Students will learn vocabulary, composition of pictures, and analyze different artists' work to improve their own. Having a voice in art matters and through your donations my kids will be able to express themselves using these cameras. Please help my students to provide them with opportunities to learn, grow, and express their creativity.
