I am a brand new Kindergarten Teacher with a beautiful bright classroom that has no classroom library. I have been able to purchase most of my supplies but have no more money for my beginning readers. I will use our classroom library to introduce my students to the beauty of holding a book, turning its beautiful pages, looking at the pictures, and finally making sense that those letters have sounds that make words. What an awesome moment when my students realize that there is a whole world hidden in those pages and that they can be authors too just like those books.
