We are severely lacking in grade-level books in our classroom, these books will give our students the opportunity to become independent explorers in our classroom library. They will have the chance to pick a book and read and decode it all on their own, and through that find their love of reading! We also lack crayons, and as 6-year-olds my students go through them quickly. Crayons are used in our classroom to become authors and illustrators, we create our own books and imagine pictures to go with them, the more colorful the better! Other items on the list will be used to display student work and work on our handwriting. I really appreciate anything you are willing to donate to our class!
