Every student wants to be in the limelight. Being a part of our morning news crew will give students the opportunity to shine. However, without proper media equipment, our students will never feel like they're truly shining. Having proper equipment not only provides the opportunity for students to have a quality presentation, but it also helps to build the self-esteem that they need. Microphones help with the projection of their voices and the teleprompter will help their posture as they read. As they see themselves on camera and hear themselves on the recordings, they will gain confidence in their public speaking ability. This will enhance their communication skills in the classroom as well. The news equipment will provide so many opportunities for growth in our students. All students will grow in confidence and courage to present in front of others. They will also be proud that they are presenting quality work.
