Look around you! Everything we find in our modern technological world is created using design! With this project, students will be using lamp kits to design and build their own lamp. Partnering with the local library or a museum (pending the project is funded), students can display their lamps and have the community vote on their favorite! Students will follow a design process to design, build, test, and present a lamp they make. Students will use the proposed materials as well as materials and tools already located in the classroom to "light up their learning" with this hands-on, creative, build!
