This is a VIP chair intended to honor each student during their VIP week. My old chair of 12 years called it a day last year. During a VIP week, students share hopes and dreams, stories they have about friends and family, classroom games they choose to play and lead- all the time in a chair fit for a boss. Each new week, as a matter of fact, a different student will be honored and have the privilege of sitting a little taller with a little bit of posh in this magnificent chair. It travels around the room and visits a new kid each week. I am also adding some dry erase markers (we use everyday at math groups) and a few more books to our library so that our class has up to date books that reflect the diversity we have in our class. Thank you for funding us!
