Holbrook Language Academy is a Two-Way Dual Immersion Program for TK-8th grade students in the Mount Diablo Unified School District. Our school program includes English-dominant speakers with Spanish dominant speakers. Students receive instruction in both languages. Starting in Kindergarten, students spend half of their academic class time each day working in English and the other half working in Spanish. With the return to full time in person learning our students would benefit from a wellness center where I as their counselor can support them with their social emotional needs which will lead to greater academic success.
