We are improving literacy one student at a time. The average reading level of our high school students demonstrates the need for added attention in the area of literacy. We use articles and printed materials frequently. This project will help me have resources available for my students who prefer printed materials. My students often prefer having a paper copy of their materials to help them follow along, annotate and stay engaged in my literacy class. Many students grow fatigued from viewing a screen several hours in a row and need the variety of having paper copies of their work available. The printer and laptop will make these resources available to help my students be more successful.

About my class
