These items will be used for sensory issues and calming the student. The GPS locators are for keeping the children in safe locations. A lot of Autistic children run and this would help both at home and with school trips. Autistic children see the world in a much different way. These tools will help us all keep them safe and secure. Many of our students are non verbal so they are unable to tell someone they are lost or what they are looking for. The weighted vests also help calm and soothe the children.
