As the social worker and psychologist at our elementary school, we see both love helping to mold young minds and truly enjoy working with these children; some of whom have gone through significant trauma. Students come into school and into our offices to not only learn but to feel safe, which is important in a pandemic stricken world that is clouded in uncertainty. We work very hard to create curriculum that will not only engage our students, but also give them the tools to be successful in school and in life. These social emotional learning based books will help our students work towards self regulation, processing emotional struggles, and learning essential social skills.
