Our school was given a marching drumline comprised of 4 snare drums, 4 bass drums, and 4 quad drums. All drums came with the corresponding harnesses and sticks. In order to have a traditional sounding drum line, the addition of 6 marching crash cymbals will be necessary. A well practiced drumline will almost always produce a drum set-like groove. Our drumline, as it is; will be missing the powerful cymbal sound that is characteristic. Adding cymbals to our drum line will help the students realize how the parts of a drumline come together to produce the groove.
