Evidence shows that implementing the use of vertical non-permanent surfaces (VNPS) is a tool that is instrumental in the fostering of a thinking classroom. Giving students the opportunity to be out of their seats and working together is proven to show improvement in student participation and learning rather than sitting at a desk all day. With the addition of these whiteboards, I will be able to provide an environment where students will work out of their seats in groups of 3, while also being able to easily see various strategies that other classmates are using providing for valuable discussion.
