Middle school students love to move, and we have a hard time stopping them. When we do stop their physical movement, we speed up their brains and that energy comes out in distracting ways. I switched to some flexible seating options a few years ago and noticed a huge difference in my students. More attentiveness, and more work production from students who were able to move as they worked. These wobble stools are a favorite of many of my students, but I do not have nearly enough to meet the demand. With your support, we can get these chairs into the classroom and under these students to help lift them towards success.
