Smooth transitions are vital for classroom stability. If students can transition from one subject to the next with as little time wasted they are able to get the most out of their education. As a kindergarten teacher I am able to make these transitions smooth by providing them with the materials they need. A color coordinated rug and chair organizers can provide the structure they need. A kindergartener spends a great majority of their day on the classroom rug. This color coordinated rug will give my students an assigned seat which allows for quick and efficient transitions. The chair organizers will allow my students to keep all of their materials within an arms reach. Time is so important in education and these two items will help tremendously!
