Nutrition and wellness is a new course at our school and does not have a textbook. Students are learning about healthy lifestyles (fresh food, local agriculture, quality sleep, exercise/movement, stress relief, positive relationships, etc.) from a variety of online resources. Books in the classroom would help enrich their lessons and get them off of electronics for a bit:-) I have chosen titles that promote a balanced approach to nutrition and encourage eating fresh real food. This course is an elective, but still incorporates the importance of English language arts (ELA) skills.
