Having a table for guided reading groups and all other small group work would be so beneficial. This would be an area where I can work with small groups for their individualized needs. The reading/writing easel will help my students learn to read and write. I will have a place to put my big books, as I use them to model reading. The writing part of this easel will help me teach them how to write. It allows me to have a place to model both reading and writing. Children love to come up to a writing board that is in front of the class and show what they have learned!
