We have a big pond and 50 acres of woods with trails behind our school. The students will be testing the water in the pond and using that water to help grow plants inside the classroom. I have a growing tower that can grow 32 plants at a time using hydroponics. Students will plant, grow, and eat the fruits and vegetables from that tower. I will get lessons from Teacher Pay Teachers to teach about nutrition, growing techniques, etc. during this process. The students will also have nonfiction science books to read during homeroom to expand their science knowledge. Lessons will be posted in Google Classroom for students to access at home when needed.
