With this project, students will have books in their hands to read independently, and this will, hopefully, give them confidence and the love of reading every day. Students also need to learn empathy, and the cards will foster conversation and spark thinking. Students haven't had access to many manipulatives from home. I hope to give them materials for hands-on learning. Our movement is, unfortunately, limited due to Covid, but students like having choice about where to sit and learn. Fun and mobile spots give students flexibility to learn in a safe and fun space in the classroom.
