The goal for my class is to enjoy a read aloud together using the book Blood on the River: James Town 1607. Reading and Social Studies classes will work together on a cross-curricular study of the events that occurred during this historic time. Students will enjoy learning about James Town through this excellent historical fiction book. My 5th graders will have the opportunity to experience life through the struggles and triumphs of the characters in this thrilling book. Thank you so much for your help in educating these young eager minds!
