Creating STEM Bins for my students to use during science and math centers will give them the ability to think creatively and critically about how to construct different shapes and towers. This will also work simultaneously to build their mathematic understanding and allow them to use their imaginations to become engineers. I want to provide activities they can do independently and to see what they create My students love to do these type of activities in class as an "early finisher" activity as well. I love being able to allow them opportunities throughout the day to express themselves constructively and allow them to use a learning tool as something fun for them to work at. These tools will be so important to see growth in my precious 1st grade class.
