All of my students enjoy the great outdoors. Why not help them have a better experience by giving them the opportunity to identify the birds that come and go on our school ground. Students will use these materials to help learn about the migration of birds, identifying birds we have in Michigan, and help them understand the importance of feeding birds throughout the harsh Michigan winter. Caring for nature will bring joy to my wonderful 1st and 2nd graders! Students need to be outside learning about the world around them. By being outside and working hand to hand with nature, it teaches them what they can do to help other living things.
