These materials will help students have access to modern, relevant and engaging books! This will help build literacy, vocabulary, reading endurance, empathy, and help create an escape into literature during these trying times. Students will track their reading and build up a stronger reading pace, will be able to collect and track books to read, and create a general interest and excitement around independent reading. We want to create a culture of reading, and if even one student starts to enjoy reading through the access to high interests texts...that is a win!

About my class
