Overall, I want classroom funds in order to create both classwide and individual behavior management systems (including a classroom store), fund STEM projects, and acquire crafts supplies for our weekly Fun Friday activities. Students in the classroom get to earn classroom dollars by listening and following directions. Every Friday, students can cash in their classroom dollars to buy something at the store. We are planning on starting a STEM project, to learn about the life cycle of butterflies. and eventually, we will get caterpillars and watch them transform into butterflies in our classroom! Lastly, students will make weekly crafts to take home or put in their portfolios. The first craft we are doing is using recycled materials to make art.
