Within the first week of school, I noticed some students didn't know how to hold pencils or crayons and some were barely able to make marks on a paper. In order for students to be able to write letters and numbers, they first have to have the strength to be able to control the pencil/crayon and be comfortable holding them. The items I am asking for will help to develop those fine motor skills needed to help get my students ready to write and give them confidence in their learning.
