These materials will help students to learn life skills as well as educational applications i.e. yards, inches, geometrical shapes. By exposing students to the art of sewing, it will enable them to fix minor repairs on clothing for themselves and peers, it will also give them a hands on experience to create garments i.e. mask, skirts etc. Empowering students for success through sewing will give students confidence in a variety of subjects. Fashion is big with middle school students and to be able to merge both worlds helps bridge the gap.

About my class
