The addition of a worm farm to our garden program will help increase our yields and teach students about the cycling of matter. This project will be housed in my classroom, but students from our entire school will have access and the worms will help compost waste from school lunches and breakfasts. We will use the compost created to amend the soil in our nature habitat where we are growing vegetables to provide to families from our school. We also grow food for our school tortoise who lives in our habitat.

About my class
