My students are multi-modality communicators, and many are non-verbal. They are eager to learn and communicate their wants and needs to the world. My students need access to multiple ways to communicate without words because they do not yet have them. Signing Time will become a part of their daily curriculum. For my kiddos, it is not just about learning math and language arts. And it is about giving them a voice and promoting the use of that voice. As we watch these videos, we will practice the signs and use sign language daily.
