I have 16 students. These different types of seating will not only help my students be more comfortable it will also help them focus. When your comfortable in your space and seat your mind can focus on important things like learning with less focus of being stuck in a hard uncomfortable chair. At such a young formative age in first grade learning is messy and sometimes loud. It should also encourage students to be comfortable in their space. We also encounter students with learning difficulties everything from autism to ODD. Sometimes comfort can help ease these students into new routines and help keep minds focused.
