Dear Dream makers, My name is Ashley Vitiello and I am a first year kindergarten teacher. I recently graduated with my Masters Degree in Masters of Arts in teaching with a dual certification of teaching K-6 and Teacher of students with disabilities. The use of an interactive easel is something students will use to collaborate, interact, and have hands on experience with. Stools will be used for small group where students will get one on one instruction which is vital since they lacked that exposure due to the COVID pandemic. Flexible seating bands will allow my students to have an outlet to let out energy when at their desks. Due to COVID, this year students may need to spend more time at their desks instead of interacting closely due to the guidelines instilled by the schools. These bands will allow students to get energy out in differentiated ways while making learning fun. Just picture my little adventurers coming up to the easel and taking the job as the "teacher" for a day. Using a pointer and teaching their classmates is something that I picture my students doing during their lessons and enjoying so much. Your donation will change and impact the lives of my students to become adventurers in their academics, and to become something bigger than themselves. I dream to give each and every child the very best learning experience that I can to help propel them into a higher level of learning bringing out the very best in each student, all while having fun while doing so. I know the tools I am hoping to receive for children will help them so very much.
