Interactive Notebooks are simple but effective. Interactive Notebooks create a dedicated space for students to log their reading accomplishments, their book wish lists, and creative writing. One section is for responding to text, another for their responses to creative writing prompts. I plan to have students keep their notebooks in the classroom so that they don’t need to carry them around (no lockers due to Covid) or risk losing them. At the end of the year, students will have a book full of their own learning and thinking. Thank you!
